HOMEcoming

A journey into your Soul Garden
Welcome, lovely soul
You've arrived.
Homecoming is an invitation to step away from the noise of the outside world for a little while and turn your attention inward.
At the heart of this experience is a guided Soul Garden Immram, an inward journey into a living landscape that belongs entirely to you.
There is nothing you need to achieve here.
Nothing you need to understand.
Nothing you need to become.
Simply make a little space, gather what you need, and allow yourself to journey.
Before you begin
If you can, choose a time when you won't need to rush away immediately afterwards.
Find somewhere comfortable and gather anything that will help you create a sense of sanctuary.
You may like to bring:
A candle
To mark the beginning of your journey and become a small point of remembrance when you wish to return.
Soul Garden Anointing Oil or Soul Mist
If you have one, you can use scent as part of your ritual. Over time, this aroma can become familiar, a sensory reminder of the pathway into your Soul Garden.
Headphones
So you can settle more deeply into the journey.
A journal and pen
For anything you would like to remember afterwards.
Something warm
A blanket, shawl or whatever helps your body feel comfortable.
None of these things are necessary.
If all you have is yourself and a few quiet minutes, that is enough.
Your Homecoming Ritual
Before beginning the Immram, take a few moments to intentionally step away from the ordinary rhythm of your day.
Light your candle.
Watch the flame for a moment.
Let it mark a threshold between everything that has been asking for your attention...
and this time you are choosing to give to yourself.
If you are using your Soul Garden Anointing Oil, place a small amount onto your wrists or heart.
If you are using your Soul Mist, gently mist the space around you.
Take in the aroma.
Let yourself notice it.
There is no need to take an exaggerated breath or try to feel anything particular.
Simply allow scent, flame and this moment of stillness to become part of your remembering.
Each time you return to these anchors, they can become a quiet signal:
I am coming home.
When you feel ready, make yourself comfortable and begin your journey.
Before We Journey
Immram is an old Irish word meaning a voyage or journey.
Inspired by the old Irish tales of voyages beyond familiar shores, the Immrams I share through Soul Nest invite us to journey inward.
Unlike a meditation focused primarily on relaxation or mindfulness, an Immram invites you into an inner landscape where imagery, sensation and your own knowing become part of the experience.
My voice offers the pathway.
Your experience makes the journey your own.
You may see images, sense colours, notice emotions or memories, hear words, or simply know.
There is no right way to journey.
You don't need to make anything happen. Simply follow what comes.
Your Soul Garden
Within this Immram, you'll be invited to enter your Soul Garden, an inner landscape that reflects something of your relationship with yourself.
Your garden may be wild or cultivated. Flourishing or quiet. Familiar or completely unexpected.
There may be places you're drawn towards and others you barely notice.
You don't need to interpret everything you encounter, and this isn't a garden you need to perfect.
It is somewhere to meet yourself.
Somewhere to listen.
Somewhere to notice what is flourishing, what has been forgotten, and what may be asking for your care.
Most importantly, it is somewhere you can return to.
Enter Your Soul Garden
Make yourself comfortable.
Allow your candle to burn somewhere safe nearby.
Place your journal aside.
There will be time for words afterwards.
For now, simply journey.
Set aside around 30 minutes for the full Homecoming experience, with a little extra time afterwards if you'd like to journal, rest or simply let your journey settle.
After Your Journey
Take your time.
There is no need to immediately understand what you experienced.
Drink some water.
Sit quietly.
Step outside and feel the earth beneath your feet.
Let yourself return to the ordinary world slowly.
Your Soul Garden isn't a puzzle waiting to be solved.
It is a relationship.
Something may make sense immediately.
Something else may return to you while you're making tea tomorrow morning.
And some things may simply remain mysterious.
Let them.
Before you blow out your candle, take one moment to notice its flame again.
Remember the feeling of returning.
Over time, lighting a candle or encountering the aroma you used today can become a small doorway back to this place.
Your Soul Garden remains within you.
You can return whenever you need.
If you'd like to reflect...
There is no homework waiting for you here.
But if writing helps you listen more deeply, open your journal and spend some time with one or more of these questions:
What did I notice in my Soul Garden?
Was anything asking for my attention or tending?
Is there something from my journey I would like to carry back into my everyday life?
You don't need to answer them all.
Follow the one that seems to have something to say.
A Place to Return
Homecoming is an introduction to a way of being that sits at the heart of Soul Nest Sanctuary.
Notice.
What is happening within you and around you?
Tend.
What is asking for your care?
Return.
What brings you back into relationship with yourself?
Create.
What wants to grow, move or be expressed from there?
This isn't a sequence to master.
It's a rhythm.
One you can return to throughout different seasons of your life.
And sometimes, all it begins with is noticing.
If you'd like to journey deeper...
Homecoming is your first doorway into Soul Nest.
Inside The Hearth, we gather throughout the turning seasons to continue this practice of noticing, tending and returning.
There are guided Immram journeys, meditations, seasonal ceremonies, energy readings, rituals, reflective practices and quiet opportunities to gather together.
You don't need to keep up.
You don't need to consume everything.
The Hearth is simply somewhere to return when you need nourishment, connection or a reminder to listen inward.
If Homecoming has stirred something within you, the fire is already burning.
For now, there is nowhere else you need to go.
Let your journey settle.
Your Soul Garden will be there when you return.
Welcome home. 🌿
